Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has released an official notification for recruitment to the post of Food Safety Officer (FSO) for 45 vacancies in Food & Drugs Administration Department, Haryana against the Advt. No. 25/2026. Eligible candidates may apply online through the official HPSC website hpsc.gov.in from 28th September 2026 till the last date of application submission 19th October 2026 for Food Safety Officer (FSO) recruitment examination 2026.

1. Bachelor's degree or Master's degree or Doctorate degree from a recognized university or institution in following disciplines: -

(i) Food Engineering (ii) Food Engineering and Technology (iii) Food Processing and Preservation (iv) Food Processing Technology (v) Food Technology and Management (vi) Food Biotechnology (vii) Food Plant Operations Management (viii) Food Process Engineering and Management (ix) Food Processing (x) Food Safety and Quality Management (xi) Process and Food Engineering. Or
Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology; or Disciplines deemed to be covered under "Agricultural Science" -
(i) Agriculture (ii) Agriculture Engineering (iii) Biotechnology (iv) Dairy Technology (v) Fisheries (vi) Food Technology (vii) Food Nutrition and Dietetic (viii) Horticulture Or
Veterinary Sciences or Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology or Chemistry or medicine from recognized University, Or
Bachelor of Medicines and Bachelor of Surgery or Bachelor of Dental Surgery or Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery or Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery or Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery or Bachelor of Ayurvedic medicine and Surgery or Bachelor of Sowa Rigpa Medicine and Surgery; or any other equivalent recognized qualification notified by the Food Authority with the prior approval of the Central Government;
2. has successfully completed training as specified by the Food Authority in recognized institute or Institution approved for the purpose; and Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Hindi as one of the subjects in Higher Education.
