Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an official notification for recruitment to the post of Group C posts viz. Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Data Entry Operators (DEO) for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals, etc through Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level (CHSL) Examination 2026. Eligible candidates may apply online through the official SSC website ssc.gov.in from 07th September 2026 till the last date of application submission 07th October 2026 for CHSL (10+2) Examination 2026.

SSC CHSL Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2026
For Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade 'A' in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Ministry of Culture and Staff Selection Commission: 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
For LDC/ JSA and DEO/ DEO Grade 'A' (except DEOs in Department/ Ministry mentioned at just above): Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
Note:- The candidates who have appeared in their 12th Standard or equivalent examination can also apply, however they must possess Essential qualification on or before the cutoff date i.e. 07-10-2026.
