भारत में विधि द्वारा स्थापित किसी मान्यता प्राप्त संस्था या किसी विश्वविद्यालय से कृषि में स्नातक उपाधि या कृषि में स्नातक उपाधि के समकक्ष यथा- बी०एस०सी० (आनर्स) कृषि, बी०एस०सी० उद्यान / बी०एस०सी० (आनर्स) उद्यान, बी०एस०सी० फारेस्ट्री / बी०एस०सी० (आनर्स) फारेस्ट्री, बी०टेक० (कृषि अभियंत्रण), कृषि एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा प्रदत्त बी0एस0सी0 (गृह विज्ञान) / कम्युनिटी साइंस में चार वर्षीय उपाधि प्राप्त होना आवश्यक है।
